The Weight Gain:
Being over weight caused a feeling of being left out and a feeling depressed at times. As well, as feeling limited in activities and having to work harder to reach goals. Physically my knees would hurt and pop when clamming stairs or bending down. High blood pressure was present.
The Moment of Change:
After trying exercise and different diets, loosing and gaining weight, I heard of surgical weight lost. For two years I searched for different options but certain places did not accepted my insurance, until I called medical west. I needed help to lose weight and change my lifestyle and decided to go for surgery. A surgeon once said “diets don't work” so I wanted to see if surgery worked and it did!
A New Life:
After surgery the first thing I notice was the change in blood pressure the after 30 pound my knees stopped popping when clamming stairs. Then, I started to walk fasted without getting tired as fast. At the end, my self esteem improved a great deal which help me in being more successful in my career.
