I gained the weight when I gave birth to my twins in 1990. I never lost it and just gained more i think due to depression. I also bought a fast food restaurant in 1996 and ate fast food regularly and drank soda. The Impacts that my weight had on me was getting out of breath, not being able to fit comfortably in a seat on an airplane, and y back and feet hurting everyday. I decided in 2009 to have weight loss surgery because i was worried that i wouldn't make it to see my kids grow up. I also worried about diabetes that runs in my family. I knew I had to make a change and needed help. After surgery I started feeling better. My diet changed. I no longer drink soda and I don't miss it! I am able to walk far distances without getting tired. I can shop in regular stores for clothing. I have lost a little over 100 lbs. I went from wearing a size 26 to a size 14. I am very happy with my results.
The patient shown underwent weight loss surgery. Typical patients lose 50% - 70% of excess weight. Results may vary.
