JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities

To welcome visitors and clients, receive and route telephone calls, and provide clerical and medical support in a medical clinic.

  • Checks voicemail messages, fax machines, and emails and relays messages to recipients
  • As a member of the front desk team, your job will consist of warmly welcoming clients and checking them in for their appointments.
  • In addition to welcoming clients, processes payment/receipts, assist with scheduling, appointment confirmations, follow-up appointments.
  • Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information.
  • Completion and submission of insurance forms
  • Prepping and updating patient charts
  • Medical Records filing/updating/record-keeping
  • The member at the front desk needs to be able to triage calls to appropriate clinical staff.
  • Responds to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner
Successful candidates will demonstrate that they are professional, knowledgeable, emotionally mature, reliable, very warm, friendly, polished, and empathic. Prefer detail-oriented, strong computer skills eager to learn how to use multiple software applications

Other duties as assigned

Bilingual: Spanish a plus

Able to work on Saturday and evening clinics when necessary.

Must have medical experience

JOB SUMMARY

West Medical is looking for a Registered Nurse to practice in our Vein Clinic. This position will be responsible for providing cosmetic and therapeutic care for patients with vein problems in lower extremities. These duties include but are not limited to taking medical histories, performing examinations, administering procedures and help develop treatment plans as directed by the supervising physician. Candidates must possess superior communication and patient care skills, organizational ability, be self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task, be detail orientated, dependable, and focused.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assisting doctors during physical examinations and procedureTaking medical histories, performing examinations, administering procedures and help develop treatment plans as directed by the supervising physician
  • Aesthetic & therapeutic consultations
  • Administering aesthetic & therapeutic treatments
  • Maintain high-level of patient care
  • Oral and written communication with doctors, nurses, and medical staff
  • Obtaining vital signs when necessary.
  • Collecting detailed patient information including personal, medical & financial information
  • Prepping and updating patient charts and reports.
  • Medical Records filing/updating/record-keeping
  • Responds to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner
  • Work with Medical Assistants to facilitate patient flow by notifying the provider of patients’ arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
  • Type’s forms, letters, and other documents as required at acceptable levels of speed and accuracy; collates and photocopies materials as necessary; maintains supply of forms and charts as needed.
  • Maintains necessary files; sorts, files and retrieves documents and records as necessary.
  • Maintains client confidentiality in conformance with company policies, state laws, and federal regulations.
  • Responsible for keeping the patient treatment areas clean and organized
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year with injections and/or IV administration

Customer Service-Call Center (Tarzana)

compensation: Based on Experience

Shift: 10:30am – 7:00pm

The schedule is subject to change based on production needs.

Busy Medical Office in Tarzana is looking for a highly motivated, outgoing, personable, and enthusiastic individual for a position in our patient care department.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic and committed to delivering stellar customer service to all our patients. The Patient Service Representative is expected to handle multiple tasks at once and maintain accuracy and professionalism at all times

Qualifications:
 

  • Prior experience within a call center
  • Highly organized with detailed follow-up skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, self-disciplined and able to work unsupervised.
  • An excellent work ethic and sharp organizational skills.
  • The ability to follow through on projects from start to finish

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (or the equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a customer service environment. Plus experience in the Medical Services industry a plus
  • Data entry experience
  • Basic computer skills that include experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Bilingual – Spanish

JOB DESCRIPTION

Orients and educates patients and their families by meeting them; explaining the role of the patient care coordinator; encouraging the patient to move forward with the recommended treatment plan; providing educational information in conjunction with direct care providers related to treatments, procedures, and continuing care requirements.

  • Reviews health benefits with patients. * Maintains an exceptional level of professionalism at all times.
  • Works with other team members to coordinate information and care requirements with other care providers; effectively helping to resolve issues before they affect smooth care progression.
  • Documents the patient’s progress from beginning to end and acts as the center point of all communication between the patient and the practice.
  • Routinely follows up with patients via phone throughout the term of their treatment plan and beyond to ensure complete patient satisfaction.
  • Evaluates outcomes of the patient care process and provides recommendations for improvement.
Skills required for this position include:
  • Coordinators must have excellent attendance and open availability (Saturdays included).
  • Strong verbal and written communicator in English; Spanish preferable.
  • Friendly, outgoing demeanor with an ability to provide a positive outlook to patients at all times.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Word, and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work well independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced office.
