Dr. Amiel Moshfegh is a leading vascular and interventional radiologist serving the Greater Los Angeles area. As president of the Southern California Vascular Institute, he is committed to delivering advanced, minimally invasive vascular treatments that enhance both health and overall quality of life.
Throughout his career, Dr. Moshfegh has held key leadership positions, including director of endovascular intervention at Beverly Hills Vascular Center, VAC of South LA, and Marina Del Rey Hospital. Renowned for his skill in comprehensive vein care and complex vascular procedures, he applies the latest techniques and intravascular ultrasound technology to provide accurate diagnostics and effective treatment outcomes.
A Southern California native, Dr. Moshfegh graduated with honors from UC Berkeley, earning a bachelor’s degree in molecular and cellular biology. He then obtained his medical degree from New York Medical College before completing his internship and radiology residency at the UCLA Kaiser Permanente Center, where he also completed a mini-fellowship in interventional radiology and was honored as a scholar of the Society of Interventional Radiology.
He went on to complete an intensive fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at Cornell–NY Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he further advanced his skills in state-of-the-art vascular techniques and procedures.
